Auto Suggest feature

ciao all , I was thinking how to implement a new form feature Auto
Suggest on input field , anyone already working on it?

I wouldn't add something like this to a mobile app. The code to do it
well is too bulky. We have an Autocompleter built for MooTools, but I
personally wouldn't use it for an app where the bytes matter so much.

I agree with you Aaron , infact this was my only doubt , but Im trying
to implement a raugh locate me "google like" but as u can imagine I
can only locate position in a bad way when using IP generated from
EDGE and GPRS gateways so I was thinking about autosuggest query for a
"fine tuning" , unfortunally I dont think we can acces triangulation
API from safari but only from a native app.

that's correct, no hardware access whatsoever from safari.

i talked to apple folks about it a while ago and they put it on their
"radar." i suggested an API not only for location-based information
but also for some core animation. however, this will probably never
happen as iPhone SDK is now out and Apple will try to encourage people
using that for more serious app development. we shall see...

here in Italy Apple is going to release the new iPhone 3G the 3 of
June , so few weeks and we see better how we are going to play in
future ...
