I have been working on adding compatiblity with

fieldsets and form elements.

I have also made a change to the js for using iui toggles.

is anyone else interested in these changes?

Should we incorporate them here, or in another dirivitive *iui
project?

can you elaborate more about your changes (what kind of compatibility
with form elements, iui toggles?)? do you have the code somewhere for
review?

we will probably want to merge the changes with the current release
and make it a 0.2 release since they sound pretty significant.

thanks!

that's great, george. i just have a few comments.

it seems like a few native elements don't look very accurate. i think
if we want to imitate those elements, we should go all the way.

* in the "Form" item. the input fields and backgrounds look a bit
different than on the iPhone (no blue background, input fields have
rounded corners). the same goes for the "Info" block on the same page.
* the on/off buttons are white, instead of kind of gray-ish
* in the "dividers" item. the group headers seem to be a lot "taller"
than the native ones. this may be just a simply adjustment.

i've created a branch for you where you can incorporate your changes
and also added you to the project member list so you can check code
in. once you think you're ready to go, i'll merge your changes with
the current release.
the branch name is MARCHON-NATIVE_UI_ELEMENTS
(http://ciui-dev.googlecode.com/svn/branches/MARCHON-NATIVE_UI_ELEMENTS)

please, let me know if you have any questions regarding checking stuff
in and out.

thanks for taking this on!! i think having these native looking form
elements available for users will be a very valuable asset for
producing apps a lot faster.

I agree with Vladimir. Having custom-looking UI widgets is definitely
an asset to the project!

George: If you need a hand with anything, don't hesitate to ask.
