Are there any plans to move this project past version ".2"?

If so, what "issues" will it solve, what kind of new functionality can
it provide?

Yes, an upgrade is imminent. There will be several bug fixes such as
proper handling of subsequent requests (when you hit the back button
while a page is still loading or call cancel function, it gets funky),
improved pagination and will implement page caching. Looking forward,
we'll also want to add support for CSS3 animation and transforms that
are now hardware accelerated in firmware iPhone 2.x.
