Technology in the Classroom

Hello everyone,

I am a 6th grade math, reading and social studies teacher, and within
my classroom I use technology everyday.

I utilize a promethean board in my classroom, but I do not believe I
use is as much as I could.

I utilize tons of video sites for the 1 social studies class I teach.

In my 1 reading class I teach I have begun to utilize some of the
apple office programs such as keynote, and pages. I have also begun
to teach my students how to use these programs.

My main goal is to find ways to make the way I use technology more
interactive

Hey Paul,
You are ahead of me when it come to technology. I teach 7th grade and
have yet to use many things beyond the occasional laptop cart for
finalizing and typing their research papers. Good luck and I hope this
class works for you.

Thanks Joe,

in regards to using technology in the classroom it almost seemed at
first that it was all being thrown in to my room all at once

it can be very overwhelming but after a while one is forced to start
using it
