What I know and would like to know

Hi! I am Theresa Sinisko and I am have been teaching high school math
for 15 years. I have taught at Pleasant Valley High School for the
past 6 years and before that, I taught at Whitehall. I began my
career at schools in suburban Philadelphia. I believe that it is
important to incorporate technology into our teaching as our students
are using technology daily (perhaps hourly) outside of the classroom,
and we need to stay current and relevant. However, with the need to
produce results on standardized tests, our technology use cannot be
fluff. I am currently learning many of these new technologies myself
including all the social networking, etc. I am the last of an old
dinosaur--I actually went to undergraduate school with a typewriter!!
I still have much to learn myself. I took a class and learned to use
moviemaker a few summers ago. It would be useful to get an update on
that because I did use it to make some presentations for my class. I
am interested in learning the basics about using blogs in the
classroom, wikis and google docs. I am happy to learn what others are
interested in as long as I could find a direct use in my classroom.
