My name is Doug Sherman. I am currently waiting for my new assignment
within the Allentown School District. This past year I was a 6th grade
science and reading teacher at Trexler Middle School. Two years ago,
my first year teaching, I taught 7th and 8th grade math.
I am always trying to incorporate new technologies into my classroom.
I have used google docs, wikispaces, classroom websites, smart
response remotes, moodle, imovie, podcasts, and mch more with my
students.
I would love to learn more about voice thread. It is a new
collaporation program that I think can be incorporated into any
curriculum very easily.
Also, I would like to possibly discuss the use of social media within
education. Could it be useful?? Or do all of the possible negative
effects truly outway any benefits we may be able to gain?
