Hi! My name is Angela Byrne and for the past four years I have been a
Secondary Literacy Coach for East Stroudsburg Area School District.
Prior to that, I taught remedial reading for grades 9-12.
I did not have very much access to technology when I was in the
classroom, but as a coach, I am finding more and more uses for it. I
wouldn’t call myself a digital native, like our students, but I have
been using technology for almost 30 years and feel comfortable with
it.
I would like to begin using more technology in my professional
development. I am in the process of designing a Moodle page I will use
to post resources for teachers. A blog or discussion forum is needed
so teachers can collaborate more as they begin implementing Reading
Apprenticeship in their classrooms.
