I am Hagar Malone and have been the Technology Coordinator at St. Anne
School, Bethlehem for 20 years. I teach Middle School students to use
technology--hopefully effectively--and mentor the teachers. I have
been attending the PETE&C conference for many years. In the last few
years, there has been quite a lot of information on Web 2.0 and 21st
century skills. Collaborative projects seem to be at the heart of
these skills as I discovered in recent research. The amount of Web
2.0 sites is overwhelming and I need to find a way to tap into the
technology education community for help. Also, I need to find out how
to use collaborative technology like Google Groups, wikis, etc. in
order to help develop some student work and to work on a project where
the team is spread out across 50+ miles and travel time is a problem.
