Patrol/City Wide 2015

Hey guys!

Hope you've been having a great club offseason. As you may have seen on the internet, we've started the recruiting process and released our initial tryout dates for the 2015 club season. We know that a lot of you are playing pro, and since our leadership overlaps a great deal with that of the Spinners and Phoenix, we've worked with both organizations to make a schedule that is workable for those playing either team. Here's the current schedule (through June):

April 18/19 -- unofficial pick up (not mandatory, but this is an opportunity to get outside, play mini or goaltimate or any other fun disc games with some new recruits)

Attendance Expectations for Pro Players: 3/4 dates in May

May 3 - tryout

May 9 - tryout (no Phoenix) - Oaks, PA

May 10 - tryout - Oaks, PA

May 17 - tryout (no Spinners)

May 24 - BREAK (Memorial Day)

May 31 - unofficial pick up

Attendance Expectations for Pro Players: Spinners 3/3, Phoenix 2/3

June 7 - home round robin (Truck, Med Men, Garden State, Bear Proof, Town Hall Stars?)

June 14 - tryout (no Phoenix)

June 21 - tryout tournament?

June 28 - unofficial pick up

July 1 - ROSTER ANNOUNCEMENTS

July 4 - BREAK

With the exception of Spinners/Phoenix playoff games, all players should be attending as many events as possible from this point forward.

As for in-season tournaments, we are not 100% sure of them yet. Patrol will definitely receive an invite to the Select Flight Tournament in Little Rock on 8/15-16, but if we can attend a closer tournament with similarly skilled teams, that may be a more palatable option. Sectionals are 8/29-30 and Regionals are 9/12-13, so clear those weekends!

Finally, I'll be creating a new email list for the tryout process soon, so if you are on either the Patrol or City Wide list from last year and you do not plan on coming back, please let me know so that I can remove you.
