See below. Pada could use some volunteers to coach youth winter league on sundays at Tee's. This is a great chance to rep our program and build our relationship with pada.

Also, this is the start of a philly ycc team, something we should support. good for us. Good for philly ultimate.

If you can coach a team or help out even on a less regular basis, let rick know! Getting a handful of guys from our program would be a big help.

Hey there,

As you may be aware PADA is running a Coed U-19 Winter League for the first time in 2015. There will be 6 teams playing Sunday afternoons at Tees from January 25th to March 1st with finals on March 15th in Pottstown.

We would like to have a male and female coach for each team. Please reach out to your respective teams to see who would be willing to help develop future Philadelphia Ultimate players. Volunteers need not be certified coaches as we have the USAU requirements already taken care of. We would like at least one of the coaches for each team to be there every week. Please note these games are being played right before Core WL games so many players will be on site later in the day.

One purpose of this league is to field a Philly Mixed team for YCCs in August. We would appreciate the coaches input into player selection. We would also like to call upon some players to occasionally attend practice and try outs to help develop the team.

Just following up, as the start of this league approaches (Jan 25). I know DBaer, Cory, and Zargham have gotten in touch with Rick on this. I double-checked with the organizers, and the vibe I got was "the more the merrier." They're looking for regular weekly coaches, but also folks who would be interested in stopping in to help out less regularly. My plan is to drop in several times, but I don't think I can commit to being a weekly coach.
