7pm @ St. Monica's Lanes in South Philly.  Be there.

In addition to being a great social event, there's a competitive element to the party: each club team present will nominate three bowlers to represent their teammates... that's all the rules we have so far.  There is a trophy [see attached picture] on the line here, folks, which is definitely going to have an engraved plaque on it at some point I SWEAR!

Nominate peers, or yourself, and most importantly - RSVP to the Evite (everyone should have received this, if you didn't email me) and bring friends/significant others/etc. More people = more fun!  Oh yea, beer too.

I never got the evite, but then again I didn't actually play club so I'll be a free agent/ merc for whichever team looks like they need another shitty drunk bowler.

I am really bummed to miss out. Because everything about this event is awesome. I love trophies. I like all of you (or at least everyone who responded to the Evite). I love games.

Anyway, I hope you all have a great time bowling and build some energy for our next winter social activity.

I will offer a secret special additional prize on the line for the best and worst bowlers. Will there be twitter updates?

When I looked up the Charlie Hoppes bowling night forecast, it was in the double digits with very little accumulation of falling white stuff. Sounds pretty safe to me.

I got an email saying that bowling is cancelled tonight, will be rescheduled. From what I can tell, the other teams are just scared of our bowling prowess. Or the lanes are closed due to snow. Either way, our inevitable victory has been postponed.

Yep, sorry all, the bowling alley backed out. It'll probably be a few weeks before we can reschedule. We'll see if we can avoid major college tournament conflicts, but can't make any promises.
