to City of Friendswood vs Citizens of Friendswood
I submitted an open records request to the City regarding the Alvin
property a while back. The City opposed my request and submitted it
to the Attorney General seeking a finding that Attorney-Client
Privilege applied to some responsive documents. The Attorney General
ruled the documents are to be produced as the City failed to prove any
of the documents were covered by attorney client privilege (although
some e-mail addresses had to be redacted). I am now waiting for the
City to produce the documents. Just another element of Alvin Gate
and evidence of the difficulty in getting information related to the
issue.
