North Tower Begins Testing New Electric Sub-Metering System

This month, North Tower residents received sample electricity billing
statements as the North Tower begins the test phase of its new
electric sub-metering system.

North Tower residents should NOT pay the sample bills. The sample
bills are intended to acquaint North Tower residents with the new
system, and to help identify issues and make adjustments to the
metering the billing process. The sample statements reflect the usage
charge, based upon kilowatt hours (kWh) at PECO's kWh rate, as well as
a $3.50 service fee. During the test period, North Tower will continue
to pay for electricity collectively through association fees.

The testing period will run through about June 2011. Beginning in
about July 2011, North Tower residents will assume responsible for
their individual electric usage, and will no longer pay for such usage
through association fees. Association fees will continue to cover the
cost of common area electrical usage.
