CITYVIEW POINTS E-NEWSLETTER NO. 24
The Communications Committee is pleased to announce several new
features and updates to our website, Cityviewpoints.com.
First, we have created “Writers’ Corner,” a new page to showcase news
features, resident profiles, special-interest columns, and other items
written by resident contributors. The Communications Committee invites
and encourages residents to write about matters of interest to
CityView and our neighborhood. Please visit Writers’ Corner at
http://www.cityviewpoints.com/page/writers-corner.
Second, the recently created “CV NeighborLink” welcomes its first
group, Cityview Parents. CV NeighborLink allows residents to create
and join groups with common interests. CV NeighborLink is featured on
the Cityviewpoints.com homepage. We hope that residents create more
groups very soon!
Finally, we have updated our Contacts section to reflect the newly
elected Board directors. Congratulations to all of the current Board
directors!

the Cityviewpoints.com homepage.

awning at the pedestrian entrance to the parking garage. The replaced
awning was damaged last winter during snow removal.

The North Tower Board of Directors has approved the purchase and
installation of an electric sub-metering system for the building. The
system will allow residents to monitor their individual electric
usage, and will enable the Association to bill residents individually.
The North Tower currently lacks sub-metering and bills residents for
electricity collectively through association fees. A six-month trial
period will begin in or around August 2010. During the trial period,
residents will receive sample bills and be able monitor their
individual usage, while continuing to pay for electricity through
association fees. Individual billing will begin following the trial
period. For more information, please contact Management at
215-231-9433.

Samples of LED (light-emitting diode) and CFL (compact fluorescent
lamp) products currently are installed and on display in the parking
garage to evaluate the samples for a proposed replacement of the
current garage lighting. The Energy Committee and Management are
investigating a garage lighting retrofit for possible benefits
including lower energy consumption. The samples are located near the
first floor elevator; signs identifying the particular samples will be
posted shortly. Residents are encouraged to check out the samples and
report any impressions or concerns to Management at
215-231-9433.
