the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General's “Home Improvement
Consumer Information” website. The site includes a database of home-
improvement contractors registered with the Commonwealth.

SPECIAL EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

A CityView Social will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, from
6-8 p.m., at Pub 'N Grub. Drink and food specials will be offered.
Guests also are invited to play pool for free during the event. The
event is organized by the Social Committee. For more information,

A handicap-accessible automatic door has been installed for the
parking garage. A special key fob allows handicapped residents to open
the door from a distance of about 10 feet. A key can be purchased from

On Monday, September 27, 2010, at 6 p.m., the Center for Environmental
Policy and the Green Condo and Co-op Initiative will host the workshop
“How to Create Your Condo’s Green Committee” at the Academy of Natural
Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The program is free.

During the week of October 4, 2010, Security and Data Technologies
(SDT) will test the North Tower's fire alarm system. During this time,
SDT will enter a select number of units for testing. The testing will
be conducted daily from about 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information,

In about the second half of October 2010, Carr & Duff will perform
electrical system maintenance of both towers. Electricity will be shut
down for about seven hours per tower during the maintenance.

General elections will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. The
ballots will include races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, U.S.
Senate, Congress, State Senators and State Representatives. The
polling place for registered CityView residents (Ward 8, Division 24)

NOTICES & REMINDERS

During the week of September 27, 2010, JMS Enterprises will continue
cleaning the carpets in the South Tower. Work is expected to be
completed by the end of the week.

The installation of the North Tower's new electric sub-metering system
is expected to be completed in October 2010. Thereafter, there will be
an approximately six-month trial period of the new system, during
which residents will receive sample bills and be able monitor their
individual usage, while continuing to pay for electricity through
association fees. Individual billing will begin following the trial

The South Tower Board has hired MPP Engineers to manage the
replacement of the South Tower roof. The Board expects to receive MPP
Engineers' report and recommendations in October 2010. Work on the
roof is expected to begin in late Fall of 2010.

The North Tower Board has hired the company VDA as consultant for
planned renovations to the North Tower elevators. The Board expects to
receive VDA's report and recommendations in Fall 2010.

The North and South Tower boards jointly have hired the structural
engineering firm of Joseph B. Callaghan to investigate and advise the
boards on the repair of the parking garage. The parking garage needs
repairs to address various problems including structure damage and
leaks. The engineering firm is expected to issue a report to the
boards in October 2010.
