Urban farming jam 2: tomorrow @ 5:30 p.m. (old campus parking lot)

Hi All,

See you all tomorrow (Wednesday) at old campus parking lot, 5:30 p.m. for second Urban Farming Jam.

A few of you are going off for the night photography session, all the best! May you see what only darkness shows! Please do talk to your co-landowners before you go and try to figure it out amongst yourselves. I guess we will all learn to balance ongoing learning efforts with learning to grow our own food soon.

I had a good trip to Jaynagar today, got a lot more seeds, seedlings, plants, compost and yes the tools. Tomorrow we should be mostly be able to complete the soil preparation effort, sow some seeds and seedlings and talk a bit. We have to decide if we want to have a cook-a-thon this week and when (is Friday night good?). the theme for this week is "SPROUTS" and so (ya, you guessed it) the menu will comprise of tasty sprout-based recipes. Me and Dharmang plan to deck up the first floor of CEMA with some nice comfy lighting and music for the party if it is happening.
