Thank you for reaching out!

Going forward, could you please include cityof...@googlegroups.com on emails sent out City-wide to RNOs?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Respectfully,

Hello,

My name is Wido, and I work with the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment in the Tobacco Prevention and Education Program. I focus on supporting healthier housing environments by working closely with housing providers, coalitions, and community partners across Denver.

I’m reaching out to introduce myself and share the types of resources and support our program offers, as well as to explore opportunities to collaborate with your organization. A key part of my role is partnering with apartment associations, neighborhood organizations, and housing-focused coalitions to support smoke-free housing efforts through education, policy guidance, and community engagement.

Our team provides a range of no-cost resources, including:

  • Technical assistance for housing providers interested in implementing or strengthening smoke-free policies
  • Smoke-free signage and educational materials for residents and staff
  • Resource guides and best practices related to secondhand smoke prevention in multi-unit housing
  • Education sessions filed with risk of 1st 2nd and 3rd degree secondhand smoke exposure
  • Referrals to free tobacco cessation resources

As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce secondhand smoke exposure in housing, I am actively working to strengthen partnerships with apartment associations, neighborhood organizations, and housing coalitions. I would welcome the opportunity to connect about any upcoming meetings, events, or initiatives where collaboration could be beneficial.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to discuss how our program can support your organization’s housing-related goals.
