Starting this week: Street Paving Operations on Stretch of S. Platte River Drive
Denver – Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure would like the public to be aware that it will be paving S. Platte River Drive between Santa Fe Drive and Florida Avenue starting tomorrow. Crews will first use a mill to remove the old asphalt surface, then return with a paver to lay down a fresh layer of asphalt.
Work to provide a smooth surface is scheduled to start Tuesday, August 4, though Friday, August 21, and will require crews to close S. Platte River Drive during work hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Travelers will travel around the closure by taking Santa Fe Drive to Florida Avenue.
