I was told that a report was being generated. I request a copy or link of that report as well.

Hello,

Who is responsible for clearing the bus stops branded with LAMAR or Outdoor Promotions?

This one on 17th at Williams wasn't cleared.

This one on 17th at Race was cleared.

There seems to be a disconnect somewhere that needs to be addressed by RTD with the appropriate agency.

The City of Denver does not clear bus stops unless they're responsible for that specific stop or shelter.

Otherwise, they're generally the responsibility of the adjacent property owner or the advertising agency.

Please address this issue & confirm who was contacted & how they plan to clear stops with advertising going forward.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Respectfully,

Thank you for your response, but this is a widespread issue in Denver.

Can you please provide the list of stops managed by LAMAR?

I was told that a report was being generated.
The stop in the first pic was 10330. Who manages that one?  I thought LAMAR took over management of all of these.

I shouldn't be the one going around to check on them.

Thank you,

Hello Bryan,

Thanks for reaching out. Most stops with shelters are installed by outdoor advertisers who would be responsible for clearing snow around the stop. In many cases, if the stop has only a sign then the property owner/business may be responsible for snow removal of the public walkway. However, some city jurisdictions have no such requirement for stops within their boundaries. Of the nearly 9,400 stops in our system only about 330 are cleared by RTD. Park-n-Ride stations would fall under us as well. If there is a shelter with no advertisements this could be one we maintain or it could be one installed by the city who would also maintain it.

For all advertisers there is a number posted on the stop to call for service. Each stop has a 5 digit number, you can contact us here or at 303-299-6000 and we can determine who would be responsible for that stop.

Thank you,

RTD Customer Care

Could you three please follow-up on this?

Chris, I believe you posted in r/RTDDenver that a report was being generated.

What is the status on that & where is it posted?
