Clean Air Mini-Grants are Now Open
Up to $50k to distribute Air Purifiers in Denver
Climate change is making summers hotter and drier, which means wildfires – and smoke – are more common. Indoor air pollution presents serious health risks, particularly for seniors and people with pre-existing health conditions.
The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency is providing up to $50,000 to organizations to purchase and distribute portable HEPA-certified air purifiers to eligible households.
We are looking for community organizations or nonprofits that:
Have demonstrable, long-standing relationships with target communities.
Have the organizational infrastructure to:
Identify and vet eligible community members to receive air purifier units
Purchase and distribute air purifiers in recipients’ homes
Track and report community impacts and outcomes.
Does this sound like you? Applications for funding are now open and will close on April 10, 2026.

Update to Cool Homes Mini-Grant Program
Great news! Organizations applying for Cool Homes Mini-Grants can now expand their scopes to cover more types of cooling equipment like climate heat pumps.
We realized that funding you could only use for air conditioning units was going to exclude Denverites with incompatible windows. With this expanded scope, funded community groups and nonprofits will be allowed to purchase more types of cooling equipment, which means cooling for more types of homes in Denver!
