my son left my flat on tues 6th at 5am to go to work , he got to broad
green av , nxt to somerfields and was mugged by 3 boys in hoods , he
only saw 1 of them he was wearing just a grey hoodie top and had a
scarfe covering his face , the other 3 grabbed him from behind , held
him while the boy in front went through his pockets and stole his
wallet and phone . the police came and took the statement, and asked
if we had any cctv cameras outside , i said not that im aware of any
ive tried to ring nadeem albeit to no avall , i am awaiting his call
back on this matter , please can u all be very vigilant if you have to
go out early morn , and obviously at night if anyone hears any
information on this matter i would be grateful thank you

Hello Dazza.
I am sorry to hear the incident happened near us.
I agree the point that we dont have enough CCTV coverage and have no
schedule to be installation either.

Today, I took a photo that there were cigarettes and bottles of
whiskeys just in front of car park entry on block B.
This is noticeable distance from the back door of Black A, but it
seemed that security did not noticed when and why these remains.
I will request to Crabtree to install CCTVs and high fence around the
sites, and to ensure security covers the all areas in the site.

I am also preparing letter to Crabtree and Fairview that we need CCTV
istallation ASAP, high fence between block A, B and C, and introducing
parking permit.
If possible, I would like to get signatures from members presenting we
are all agreed.
Hopefully your son did not hurt from the incident.
