Providing outstanding and accessible educational opportunities to our members, and the entire cardiovascular ultrasound community, is core to ASE’s mission.
Advanced Echo: Virtual Experience, February 27-28, 2021, was created by the course chairs of Echo Hawaii and State-of-the-Art Echocardiography when it became apparent that they would not be holding these courses in person in early 2021.
Course chairs James D. Thomas, MD, FASE, and William A. Zoghbi, MD, FASE, along with co-chairs Jonathan R. Lindner, MD, FASE, and Sunil V. Mankad, MD, FASE, have developed a one-of-a-kind virtual educational experience where expert faculty will discuss state-of-the-art technologies with a particular focus on how they can be effectively applied in the clinical setting. Registrants of this course will be eligible to claim up to 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and receive access to the content until April 27. Case-based approaches will be used to discuss new and established applications of echocardiography for diagnosis and guiding management in patients with a broad array of cardiovascular conditions.
A unique part of this course is the live interactive breakout sessions on Saturday afternoon on these topics:
- 3D Echocardiography
- Quantitation: Chamber Volumes/Left Ventricular and Right Ventricular Function/Strain
- Valvular Heart Disease
- Diastology
