Eagles Nest Acquisition & Demolition - Requests for Letter of Support

The City of Red Lodge is working with FEMA to fund the acquisition and demolition of the Eagles Nest Hotel. The proposed project would include the acquisition and demolition of the flood-prone structures on the two properties located at 702 Broadway Avenue South and 704 Broadway Avenue South, which were damaged during the June 2022 Rock Creek flooding. After acquisition and demolition, the properties would be converted to open green space and maintained to support floodplain function, public safety, and long-term community resilience.
