ALL: to augment Aileen's note about providing input about the next City Manager, and the need for him/her to be a *strong* advocate for sustainability, the deadline for comments is THIS FRIDAY, 4/15. If you can, please do take a moment and share your thoughts. This is a *critical* hire for the City sustainability-wise, so every comment will help! Here's the link again:

Also...a quick reminder about the next CESC meeting tomorrow:

Date & Time: Monday, April 11, 2011, 4:30-6pm
Venue: Plaza Conference Rm, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 500 Castro St.

We apologize that the meeting isn't later in the day, but it was very difficult to schedule it.

5.1: ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY ACTION PLAN UPDATE

The Committee will be provided with an update on the status of the 25 initiatives comprising the City's Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP). Staff seeks Committee direction regarding future environmental sustainability-related priorities.

This will be an opportunity for you to give input to the committee about what actions should comprise our next version of the Environmental Sustainability Action Plan. If you cannot attend the meeting you may email the committee members directly with your comments.

Note: the make-up of the committee has changed slightly: Ronit Bryant (Chair), Laura Macias and Jac Siegel
