Hello All,

Great news!!

The Library is nearing completion of a new, prominent display case/area, and the Library Director has chosen the Environment as the inaugural display topic.

A few of you (Mark G. and Ellie C.) already gave me comments, but I wanted to solicit any other specific suggestions for items that should be displayed, such as books (please provide the author), DVDs (e.g. 11th Hour), posters, reports, hardware (e.g. CFLs), etc. If items are not readily available locally or on Amazon, please provide information about where to order the item.

The display will “go live” on either 8/7 or 8/10, so we’re on a short timeline. Thus, please forward any suggestions you have by Monday, 8/3, or as soon as possible thereafter. Although this will not necessarily give the Library enough time to order and receive the suggested items, the Library Director said that the display will be up for 2 months (which is 1 month longer than other future-planned displays) and therefore items can be added or rotated in/out during those 2 months.

This is a great opportunity for us to showcase the best public educational materials we can think of, so I look forward to hearing all your suggestions!!

Have a nice weekend.

Steve
