Many of you on this list I think will appreciate to be informed that this
past weekend Cam Robertson, a long time former chair and contributor to the
CCC lost his battle with cancer.
Cam was a wise and reasonable voice in the efforts to promote a more
sustainable and liveable city. I learned a lot from him.
We will miss his presence with us.

Cam Robertson died yesterday of incurable bladder cancer. Marjorie, his
wife, let me know by phone around 7:30 yesterday evening.
He was courageous and lucid until the end.
For an inkling of what an exceptional person he was, please see attached an
editorial of last December from the Kitchener Record. (I have two articles
from a journalist who writes for the Record, but the editorial gives the
essence.)

years since 2005 (.6%/yr), slower than the rate of growth of the population
which increased by 7.2% and the number of employed persons which went up by
8.2%
