I have a PostgreSQL 12 database and need to migrate to  Citus cstore_fdw, converting the tables from row-oriented to columnar. What is the best approach to do this? Will a dump/restore create columnar tables? Is this something that needs to be done manually with scripts (first create empty columnar tables in Citus and then run a script with inserts)?

Hey, just to make sure, are you trying to only use columnar storage or are you also trying to migrate to Citus too?
I mean do you plan to distribute your cstore tables?
