Citrus Perl and ActivePerl can co-exist happily as separate
installations on your System But they cannot share modules.

ActivePerl will have installed itself and set all system PATHS etc to
point at ActivePerl. So for the default situation that is fine (and is
probably what you want).
If you want to open a command prompt where CitrusPerl is the default, open
c:\perlCitrus\bin\citrusterm.bat
and work from in there.
I would not recommend changing the association of extensions '.pl' etc
away from ActivePerl, but if you must, simply use the standard
configuration tools in Win XP to associate '.pl' files with the version
of Perl you wish to use.
Please note that if you are happy with ActivePerl, I'd see no real
advantage in switching to Citrus.
