And now, a random topic to stave off the boredom while we wait for the charter to be officially completed, signed, and set into action!!!

...

Yeah, welcome to CITRA.  ^-^

hey, i have a question:

ben has mentioned to me that Nova is going to be joining the CITRA.  how is this going to work out?  because don't you already have a different economy?

The answer is we already have, and we run the two simultaneously with
emphasis on GCU. Since all tokians can earn GCU on Novatainia and
Gralus, you can still get those sort of things too ...

ok, though i'm not sure that's entirely fair because of the fact that it's not your main economic system...

and is there going to be an exchange rate between GCU and ITRA?  i would suggest not (otherwise Andreas is going to have an army 4x the size of the rest of ours within a month :D )

oh, and another thing:  ...that my horrible short term memory just made me forget.

There is the possibility of exchange, but not an exchange rate as
such. Because both economies strongly object to creating money out of
nothing. However, if anyone in CITRA wants GCU for whatever reason,
I'm willing to exchange GCU for CITRA points and we can argue at
exactly what rate, because I have a fair amount of GCU now. If people
want to trade GCU into CITRA, you'd have to find someone willing to
give up CITRA points for GCU .... maybe my good competitors in the
United Yokutarian Bank would be interested in doing so?

Top 5 reasons you need GCU:
1. All the new Novan shops appearing.
2. EP Exchange (more on this soon)
3. Share market (as soon as the Gralus bill passes)
4. MANA magic items ... you know you want them.
5. Manuel's Loot Shop. When all else fails, you want more loot ...

and bonus reason ... "Andreas' House of Games", when I get it
started ... it's sort of like a casino but there's no luck involved,
only strategy (and a generous dose of Economics ...)

Has everyone here started micronationalism in another country besides
Toketi? I feel like I have no clue of anything going on besides in
Toketi (which I don't mind, goes well with my ignorant state of mind
half the time). I'm like... a pure-bred Tokish stallion baby!!!! W00t.

Let's see...  Andreas is from Novatainia, as is Nicholas.  Prodigy has Chelkran Kesh, but he started in Toketi, and you know him in real life anyways.  :P

Novatainia, Toketi, and Chelkran Kesh are all part of a Confederation we call Gralus, which basically fuses our foreign affairs and (international) military, but leaves internal affairs to the involved nations.

So far, no non-Gralans have joined CITRA...  (and it's about as likely as a non-Gralan joining SCM - i.e. don't bet on it.)  :P

I've had my try in other countries and settled on just Gralus and
Shireroth (but I know what other ones are like because I still
basically run our Foreign Affairs). Nick's in the Jokerdom too, as is
Fides ... just about everyone else on Nova (or Toketi, for that
matter) is just in that country ...
