The streets of Port Jookoo were emtpy. Silent. Dead.
A faint fog had rested upon the land.
A faint light began to glow in the outskirts of town, followed by
shouts.
Minutes later, masses of people rushed into the streets, screaming,
torches burning.
They progressed into destroying stores and property.
----
Some time later, men clad in black marched into the city, wielding
scythes. Anybody who opposed them were cut down in one clean stroke.
All the corpses that they left behind were raised as minions. Its
safe to say that few opposed them.
----
Then. They came.
Intense balls of fire descended from the sky, landing on the roofs of
the city. Fires began. The hellraisers had come.
Summary: I take Ostshon Kagan as there is no resistance.

"Bayen! Bayen! Bayen! Bayen!" Jake rushed into the upper levels of Skoitomashu to find the Headmaster. There was an attack on Ostshon Kagan! The door to Bayen's study opened from the inside.
"What is it, Jake?" asked Bayen. Jake was the Head of Information at Skoitomashu, and that included news and even espionage.
"An assault has been mounted on the Ostshon Kagan, starting in Port Jookoo. A magical assault." Jake paused to let the words sink in. "No one recognizes the symbols the attackers bear, but they come in such numbers! Hundreds of them, and all able to work magic! It's incredible!"
"We'll need to move quickly. Whatever this attack is will probably come here next," said Bayen. "Prepare the Academy defenses, and get our mages ready. Skoitomashu won't fall without a fight."
Summary: Skoitomashu won't fall without a fight. We don't have sufficient force to defend the rest of Ostshon Kagan (plus that would be too unfair with me judging), but I will defend my own land, no other choice. (Course, you haven't attacked it, but if you did...)

Ok, obviously i don't have an army, so, as of now, there's not exactly that much i can do to retaliate. i would however like to get a few things straight (as i have not been on the forums and don't plan on going for a few more days at least, as i am immensely busy at the moment, and it is obvious that more detail pertaining to this event has been posted there, because everybody seems to know more information than you have posted here.)
first: i have been told that IC this attack has nothing to do with Lucifer himself. I would like confirmation on that.
second: i have been told that the motive for this attack was because your demigod and/or clerics believe that the people of Port Jookoo are being opressed by their lack of technology. IF this is true, and i hope to god for your sake that it is not, i would like to get a few things straight:
---the people of Port Jookoo live the way they do out of choice, there is absolutely no opression. i realize that for backstory's sake, there could be a misconception, as there always is with religious zealots, but i'm not an idiot. OBVIOUSLY that is just an IDIOTIC coverstory for the invasion of my realm, which, if the motive is real, is unneccesary, as the rest of the Ostshon Kagan has nothing to do with the so-called "oppression" of the Jookians. So, if this is the only motive given for the attack, I'm afraid this may fall to military action, as your attack is far out of line.
third: i am curious as to who now controls the land. because, if Lucifer IC has nothing to do with this, he technically does not control it, and should not get CITRA points for owning the land. i obviously shouldn't either, as it has been taken from me, so i think the solution is to ignore the CITRA generated by the invaded territory, unless Lucifer himself makes it known IC that the land is his. of course, if i have been wrongly informed of Lucifer's involvement, then by all means, he should collect the CITRA generated by the land, but it makes no sense to me for him to get it if IC the army is not known to be his, and therefore any resources gleaned off the land, in order to sever ties between the army and himself, should not go to Lucifer.
fourth: and this is directed at Lucifer: I am perfectly willing to come to a compromise over this, but, if i am correct and a demigod is responsible for this attack, well, reasoning with a demigod (and his devout clerics) is not the easiest thing in the world. I would like to avoid military action, as is my character's persona, come recent years, and only have a few small requests pertaining to this compromise.
---i will keep possession of Atticus's Folly (and i have heard that Roman is moving there for one reason or another, and, obviously, i cannot stop this, but if you want to take the montags from the island, there is not much i can do about it, (somebody else may try to stop you, though), but the montags will have to go one way or the other, and i was just planning on having them die (as i have been for months but never got around to finishing Mr. Beed's journal), but if you just want to take them off the island, that is fine by me.).
---i will be allowed to travel to Port Jookoo, from which you will have removed any orbatted forces, one last time and move the city from the Ostshon Kagan onto Atticus's Folly, where the people will live undisturbed.
---you may keep possession of the entire remaining Ostshon Kagan.
this is all i request from you. and i highly suggest that you consider this, because we both know that if this comes down to a military fight, you will lose, and, if i ever find out IC that you were responsible for this attack, i will take offensive military action in return.
of course, if it has been made apparent already that i am not aware of that Lucifer IC is responsible for this attack, i may have to reconsider my compromise.--

Here, is the compromise for now, as I am busy as well...
The date shall be January 23. At that time you will be allowed back
into the city. At that point, those who wish to leave will be allowed
to leave, those who wish to remain in a tech world may do as they

yeah, which Port Jookoo are we talking about here? the Port Jookoo that is still Port Jookoo that was moved to the island, or the Port Jookoo that was taken over and is technically no longer Port Jookoo?
