It all happened so quickly...

One moment the settlements of Laranel were waking to a quite peaceful
morning the next armed soldiers were on every street corner and a loud
voice was echoing through the streets of each and every town, and
village.

"Peoples of Laranel. To the west society has been plunged into chaos
and those without any means to defend themselves have fallen to a new
power. Today we ensure your safety. Today the lands of Laranel will
fall under the protection of Lord Nargoth of Furfein Tosha conMakain
until a time at which they are ready and able to defend themselves. My
friends and country men I will not deceive you, this is a
consolidation under one lord but it is what must be done, for if you
do not suffer this fate you may suffer one much worse.

To all we ask that you not stray from your routines nor that you
change your beliefs or you life styles but merely that for the time
being you dedicate your hard work, sweat and tears to a single cause.
A cause which will insure a brighter day and a promising future."

Summary: For the time being i am taking the recent Tokain expansion
into Laranel under my control and protection. It is indicated that
this is not a permanent change but a necessity of the times.

I'm finally getting around to respond to this. North, you have a
civilian uprising on your hands. They are taking the northern third
of what you took.

that's 24,752 pissed off civilians taking the land back. if you want
it that is.

no, i'm simply using the civilian uprising to take back the land. My
rule. I'll hold weekly executive officer meetings if you wish, but it
will be an empty title.

North: It's easy enough to see why they want the land under Longbow's
control. They're green.

Lady Luna

There are two Possible Venues for this, North. The first is the one
where i ask nicely. The second part of the post will be void if you
accept the first part, ok? :) Otherwise, it all plays out.

Luna sighed. Norths occupation had been unexpected, to say the least.
He had marched right into the eastern territory and commandeered all
of it. Just like that.

Luna didnt like her pride city taken from her so suddenly.

Reaching out with her magic, she contacted North.

"Hey North, Can I have my city back?"

"What?" He replied, distracted.

"I want Luna's Vale back." She said, firmly. "If you dont give it
back, ill take it myself you know!"

"Well..." Said North (Insert what you want here!)

----------------------------------------------------

Luna stepped out from her room onto her balcony.

She clucked her tounge in distaste as Norths soldiers marched around
the floating crystaline towers, as if it was their city.

"They didnt put any work into making this city...." She grumbled.

Twisting back into her room, she snapped her fingers and he staff flew
to her hand, and her sword to her waist. Her Robes wrapped around her,
and the Four Aces Appeared.

"Its time, Lady?" They querried.

"Yes. Assemble the men. Its time we take our city back."

In seconds, the troops as sprung up from seemingly nowhere. From the
crystaline buildings, tranquilizer darts hit the patrolling soldiers,
and for those not affected by them, or those inside, they were quickly
subdued by tasers.

When the men had all been taken out, the were herded into the central
building, where Luna and the Aces formed a pentagon around the men,
and teleported them to Norths main base. Not a single life was lost.
All was done. The city was theirs again.

I

I dunno if you would fight back, but all my men in my orbat have non-
lethal weapons, so they wont kill your men if the resist. I dunno if
you would kill my men though...

Do you intend to take the entire area or just Luna's vale? (the city)
for i am more than willing to leave you in full control of the city
(your a baroness there right?) I dont mean this to sound like a bribe
but would you like to become an 'overseer' of a few of the cities
luna's vale and maybe 2 or 3 others? I'd be happy to have you. if your
interested email me and we can work out the specifics.

"Lady Luna, good to hear from you."

"Now isn't the time for pleasantries North. You took what is
rightfully mine."

"Ah now were jumping to conclusions I may have become overlord of
these lands and admittedly i am collecting the resources but I would
be more than willing to have another help me oversee and maintain the
peace. perhaps you would be interested?"

Luna thought for a moment, then replied politely.

"North, you should know. My ambitions dont lie with the control of
other cities. I only wish to moderate over Luna's Vale. Thank you for
the offer though."

"It still stands..." North Replied. "...And the offer will reside for
quite a while if you reconsider."

"Thank you again." Said Luna. "Im glad we could resolve this with no
conflict."

"Yes..." said North slowly.

"Oh by the way...." Luna said, cheerier. "Where do you want your men?
I can send them anywhere except here you know!"

"Well...Send them too Amon Dae if you could."

"All right then! Amon Dae it is..."

Cutting off the mental communication, Luna turned to the Aces.

"It is done. Luna's Vale is safe again! Gather Norths troops in the
central pylon. Im sending them to Amon Dae, where North requested."

"Yes my lady." They said, and left the room.

Thats that! :)
Conflict: Resolved! The Luna way! :D

Sargent Joseph rolled over rubbing his temples what had happened. One
moment he had been in the crystal city the next... here... on this
dark and shadowed hill.

Looking around he saw the rest of his men also unconscious but
beginning to stir then looking up the hill he saw a strange structure
resting atop its crest.

Curiosity drew him. The climb turned out to be longer than he had
anticipated and the peak seemed to drift away as he tried to approach
but eventually he reached the doors near the summit.

In to the door were carved unusual and interesting runes. Joseph
couldn't help but run his hand over them,, then his fingers came to
rest on the handle. He could feel his heart beating in his temples but
he wanted beyond belief to know what lie beyond those doors, he
couldn't help himself, he had to know.

Strange words crept into his mind, Joseph muttered them and pressed on
the door it gave way and the door to the hill of shadows opened.

Prodigy walked into the middle of the intersection. Directly in the
heart of Datret, six different streets met in one large intersection -
arguably, the busiest intersection in the whole eastern expansion of
Laranel. And right there is where the cyborg-god-king showed up. All
traffic lights went red; all cars shut off; all citizens stopped and
watched. His voice echoed through the whole city, and everybody heard
him speaking.

"People of Datret, and all of nolRielrar, fear not! I have returned,
and I will not allow other to control you as they will! Regional
warlords have no sway over your lives. For this land is governed by
you, and this land is guarded by me! I have not forsaken you in your
hour of need. As I draw breath, I shall allow none to guide your
destinies or mine, directly or indirectly. Our wills and our lives are
our own, and none may take that away from us! So today I come to stand
by your side as your protector, and to reclaim the land that is yours,
mine, and ours!"

The citizens cheered as Prodigy suddenly grew larger, adding several
feet to himself and expanding the radius of his glimmering rainbow
aura. His metal body shifted and shone as he walked down the street,
moving for the edge of the town. He would walk its perimeter until
North showed up or gave up.

SUMMARY: I go to Datret, and contest North's hold over all of
nolRielrar with just my presence.

"Hello Prince of Toketi. Isn't this a bit far from your territory to
be straying?"

"I am king Nargoth. and you know full well this is my land. Im taking
it back."

"Really Boris? are you sure this is the road you want to go down? you
know it wont end well for either of us. I belive you should return now
to rielrar or chelkran kesh where you belong. If you attempt to take
from me this land you must realize you will surely lose your own."

"What are you saying, Nargoth?"

"Im saying that if you dont leave now i will send two of my Auraks to
your other territories one to the tokish capitol the other to
chelkra. If my land here falls to you your land will fall to me.
However if you leave now i may be willing to negotiate. Please Boris
don't push me further away. besides im not alone here."

Summary: North, Tecc. Sobek, Nalrek and Nerik arrives in Datret and
North announces that he is prepared to send men to both Rielrar and
Chelkra and that if Prodigy takes nolRielrar he will lose his other
territory. (also the forces i have moved to nolRielrar surpass yours

"If it came down to it, we would just destroy each other."

"Against only me, you would win. But with Tecc and my draconians here,
you know that you would lose."

"You seem to forget that I could destroy you and Tecc in no time flat.
But I don't want to do that, because it would hurt me too, and I would
lose a powerful potential ally. And I know you could take Rielrar or
Chelkra from me while I'm here, but the fact that you already haven't
done so shows that you still have some respect for me. Please,
Nargoth, I want to help you. Lucifer is the enemy here; you two are
neck and neck. With my help, we could tip the balance and overthrow
him. But to do that, I'll need some strength of my own."

"You have your own forces. Use them."

"Glad we could work this out," Prodigy said with a nod after he and
Nargoth had chatted for a few minutes. The demigod-king turned back to
the city and raised his voice again for all to hear.

"Citizens of nolRielrar, it is with happiness that I report your
current safety. For now, acting as an ally with me as Knight-Marshal
of the Tokian Armed Forces, lord Nargoth will still be your protector.
However, let there be no mistake: in no way am I handing this land
over to him. This place is still under my protection, and I will help
defend you if you are in danger. You are still free people; let none
tell you otherwise. This land is yours to govern, and Nargoth is
merely providing for your protection."

The people of Datret looked at each other uneasily; not quite the

moment.

The angry citizens of nolParan still held their ground - they were a
surprisingly hardy and tenacious lot. They were on the brink of
rioting; several people had suggested Molotov cocktails and rocks. One
rather cold night, huddled around camp fires to keep warm, a voice
came to them.

"Good people, why are you angered?" it asked patiently. It seemed to
come from nowhere.

One outspoken man ventured an answer. "Because we want to be free! We
don't want anyone taking our land from us, friend or foe!"

"But who is taking your land away?"

"That bastard Lord Nargoth!" a particularly cold lady shouted. It must
be her time of the month...

"He has not taken your land. You've mistaken the situation."

Suddenly, the night lit up with a vibrant rainbow, and they had to
shield their eyes to look at the man standing before them. It was
their king!

"I too protested his presence here, quite vehemently," the king
admitted solemnly. "But it is not as it seems. He is not here to
oppress you; he is not here to rule you; he is not here to steal from
you, or hurt you, or anything else. He is merely here to protect you."

"Then why does he keep bringing his dragon around here? He's
threatening us!" a rather punk-looking youth with a mohawk cried.

"I myself am personally stronger and more dangerous than that wraith
and his dragon combined," Prodigy told him flatly. "But you do not
seem too upset by my presence."

He spread his arms in a gesture of peace. "Please, all I ask is that
you go home to your comfortable lives and live in peace! No harm or
wrongdoing will befall you!"
