City Hall wants $6000 to remodel city hall kitchen

Don't worry there is no installation fee because the city staff will remodel the kitchen over the winter.

It seems there's no bottom to the pot of gold that is in City Hall.  No finite dollar for spending.  Where are these spending decisions born? Do we need to spend $6000.00 because the Park and Rec. dept does not have enough space for it's coffee carafes? Justification? I don't think so. Wrong headed thinking I say.  See you tommorrow I hope - headache tonight.  Sorry for not attending.  CJR

Also rebuked tonight was the Department Heads' contract request that if any department head was terminated for anything other than negligence the employee would receive SIX (6) months worth of pay in a lump sum.

I have to wonder if this just wouldn't have passed if we weren't sitting in the audience...
