We currently have a team of 4 community support providers. Community support is a service that is a combination of case management and skill building support. This service is for adults or children that have mental health issues. The case management function is used to help the client (or parent) navigate the array of services they need to connect with in the community, and the skill building side of CS is for helping the client with interpersonal issues such as anger management, depression, conflict resolution, etc. It is similar to what used to be called mentoring but with a more therapeutic approach. I do need to let you know that all 4 of our CS workers are female, so we will only be able to take clients that are prepubescent males, or females any age.

This service is covered by Medicaid. We are normally able to provide these services to uninsured children, but not at this time.

We also have one Spanish speaking therapist and also plan to begin an intensive in home team to work with children/youth who are at risk of out of home placement.
