Agreed! Larry might be able to support more directly again. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I will find out.

I hope we can continue to work together on this as well. The CEA can and should move beyond Lessig's presidential campaign. We can try to organize like-minded groups into a coalition to support the CEA, which would amplify our grassroots reach. 

We joined Team Lessig with the election cycle as a timeframe, and perhaps I'm stating the obvious by we should continue to think within that timeframe. We could try to get the issue of citizen equality in front of the other presidential hopefuls to see if someone will pick it up. 

Perhaps through grassroots community organizing we can keep growing in the lead up to the GOP and DNC conventions, and have a demonstration in Cleveland and Philadelphia on the days of the party nominations in July. We could present each candidate with a signed petition from voters saying they'll only support a candidate that supports the CEA. For this to be effective the petition would have to have A LOT of names on it, but since this issue is bipartisan we have a better chance of getting a large swath of voters behind it. 

These are just a few random thought, but there are so many opportunities to build the movement in the coming months and I'm excited to see where this can take us.

I second the urge to keep pushing this crucial effort, despite Lessig ending his candidacy.

One thing I think we need - alongside a solid CEA draft and a clear, convenient kickstarter platform - is some major messaging talent and experience. We won't get the CEA moving if we can't reach large numbers of people, and we won't do that without an excellent media strategy. We need to cut through the white noise and get this campaign viral. I don't have any answers, but I think we should keep talking about this aspect.
