Greetings,

I know it is kind of short notice, but hopefully there are a few folks that can help discuss the latest on the CEA. The general agenda is below, please feel free to add items.

Thanks!

  • Update on FairVote conversation
  • Update on Sunlight Foundation?
  • Details on using a fiscal sponsor
  • Kickstarter site
    • UI/UX Design
    • Forking the pledge service
  • CEA Crowdsourcing site
    • Nationbuilder trial?
    • Loomio, I've started a trial here: https://www.loomio.org/g/HWjLMb90/citizen-equality-act
      • You need to request to join. I will try and respond as quickly as possible.
      • It is an interesting platform, but I already see some major issues with the ability to organize content.

We had just a few folks that could make it today, but it was good to review our progress so far. I'd like to have a regular weekly, but would like to hear what times/days work best for folks. Thursdays are about the only daytime slot I can manage on a regular basis. Weekends in the AM are possible, other weeknights after 8:00PM EST should also be fine.

Also, I'd like to try out Ryver for collaborating more closely. It is Slack-like, but addresses some the problems. You should be receiving an invitation to join shortly. Note they are doing some maintenance tonight so if you can't get on, try again tomorrow.

Thanks,

-Bruce

Hi all -

Weekly Saturday or Sunday between 9AM - 1PM PST would work best for me. Weeknights could work too.

Please send me an invite to the Ryver group.  I'm also in favor of having meetings after 5:00 pm PST.

I would recommend reaching out to as many people as possible via all the Google groups with an invite to join this group as I imagine many people will be leaving the Google Groups with Professor Lessig exiting the presidential race.  It would be nice to meet again fairly soon in order not to loose our momentum.

I agree. Lessig's announcement may deflate quite a few people, which we might counter by another general invite.
I can fit my schedule around whatever call time the majority are  most comfortable with.

Please send me a Ryver invite as well. As far as weekly meetings go, my schedule is flexible so anytime works for me.
