Hi everyone,

I have started a FAQ page in response to Sarah Press's great questions, and in an attempt to move our many great one-on-one conversations about citizen circles into the sunlight.  I would love to hear what other questions or answers each of you would add to this!

(Please note that this is a wiki and you are welcome to edit yourself.)

Best,
Alan

Hey Alan:

We've been discussing various ways of handling FAQs and are
considering to move that over to http://qa.p2pu.org. We are planning
to have filter mechanisms that let users filter by school using links
in the main menu (so you wouldn't have to rely on tags alone).

What do you think?

Hi Alan,

Thanks so much for your comprehensive answers to my questions! These is very helpful.

I still have some specific logistics questions regarding when the classes actually start (e.g. are the intro classes all on Jan 26th or kicking off throughout the week), what the course limits mean (is 21 the limit of citizen circles or limit of individual participants) and how much involvement the teachers will have (e.g. if we just have a partner citizen circle for the WASI class do we never work directly with the teacher?) that will impact the logistics but those will probably work themselves out once the classes get going.

It looks like from your FAQ that there is no one set way of finding local participants through the P2PU site and I'd like to try out using the CommuniTeach platform for a few classes to find local interest from our community of learners and then direct them to sign up to P2PU to participate. Please let me know how the launch parties in other cities go, as well as if you have existing partnerships like this with other learning communities, as promotion best practices in the future would be great.

And Laura I am again very excited for your class! Thanks so much for organizing it!

Cheers,
Sarah
