Hi everyone,

I am really pleased to introduce the first official new course on SoSI- please see Claire's email below for her own description.  She would really appreciate your feedback!

Claire, you can join the google group here: http://groups.google.com/group/p2pu-community.  Sorry not to forward this earlier - I too was having my own traveling and learning experience in Maine, and did not have access to email most of the last week.

Best,
Alan

Hey Alan! I just tried to send this to the p2pu google group, but it didn't seem to go through. I think this might be because I'm not on the list yet. Do you mind adding me or letting me know a better way to send out the message?
Thanks!
Claire

Dear P2PU-sters,

Hello! It's great to virtually meet you. I'm Claire and I'm excited to be part of the SoSI community. My partner Brandon and I have recently launched a new P2PU course, called Learning from the World in Motion, and we'd love for you to get involved!

The course is unique because it is part of The Wise Routes Project, a project we have recently launched to collaboratively design a new model for self-guided, exploratory learning, and develop a “moving curriculum” that provides a framework for individuals and/or peer groups to build and self-facilitate learning experiences from the world around them. We'll be piloting the project this summer as we ride our bicycles from Vancouver to San Francisco... and we want you to be part of the journey through the P2PU site. You can check out our course page to participate or follow (registration is now open!), visit our website for more information, and help us spread the word by sharing our course and/or Kickstarter page with your networks!

We'd be grateful for any feedback you have re: the course page as well. If you think our description could be clearer, title could be better, or have any great ideas more generally, please let us know!

With peace and infinite curiosity,
Claire & Brandon

Hey Claire! Neat project. I noticed your kickstarter page--would you
like to be added to http://www.kickstarter.com/creativecommons ? Since
your curriculum will be up on P2PU which is CC BY-SA. Will your
resulting book also be CC BY-SA? You just have to mention this on the
Kickstarter page and link to the CC BY-SA license
(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) and I can add you to
help with exposure. Let me know.
