Hi SoSI!

SoSI might want to create a final checklist for SoSI organizers/partnered reviewers to use to assess how ready they are to run courses - we have a general P2PU list going here (link posted on the main handbook page, too): http://wiki.p2pu.org/course-checklist

Adding a supplemental list to the SoSI part of the handbook might be helpful - thoughts?

Hi everyone,

Alison's checklist of things to do before the semester starts can be found at the wiki link she gave here: http://wiki.p2pu.org/course-checklist   These are great things to ask yourself while organizing your course.

In addition, have you done the following things?  (These things must be completed before January 10th)

• Signed up for the google group (if your email address is in the To: line, you have not)
• Invited this community (the google group) to peer-review your course outline
• Posted your draft course on P2PU
• Created a user profile for yourself on P2PU
• Be interviewed by us for a blog article to be written about you on Citizen Circles blog
• Invited this community to review your assessment plan (how and what competencies will you ask participants to measure)
• Signed up for any P2PU Orientations you would like: http://p2pu.org/general/course-design-orientation

Optionally, you might want to:

• Start a discussion about unresolved questions for your course on this google group (optional)
• Tell this community about any special needs for your course we can help you with (e.g. finding gurus to provide evaluations, guest appearance, etc.) (optional)
• Populate the SoSI wiki with additional activities, resources, etc. (optional)
