Dear Well Wishers of India,
It was an inspiring telephone call with Dr.JP on "NRI Voting Rights" and "curbing Corruption" day before yesterday. We are running short of time (Nov 15th) for NRI Voting Rights Campaign and we have to work on this on a war footing. This will definitely will be a win for all Indians living abroad who wish to bring CHANGE in India. We need volunteers for various tasks w.r.t NRI Voting Rights campaign for postal ballot as mode of voting.
Tasks include but not limited to
1) Preparing Calling MP's Script
1a) Calling MP's
2) Letters to the consulate general offices in respective countries.
3) Changes to the PFL,LSP and NRI Voting Rights website
4) Videos from all over the world
5) Letters to different organisations asking for their support
6) Group all the Indian organisations and take their consent for this and mail this to Prime minister/president/...
7) Campaign in electronic and print media.
8) ...
Others
1) Create a NRI Voting Rights group team
2) Lead people in different areas of campaign
3) Come up with merchandise and events
4) Schedule weekly meetings
5) track the progress of calling MP's and other tasks
6) maintatin documents online
7) Prepare material for distribution
8) Document on Why we need postal ballot system as mode of excersing franchise.
9) Posting in all online communities
10) ...
Yes, We can make this happen as we are all willing to bring CHANGE in India with the power of Vote.
