I love the concept of this gadget - and realize the limitations
inherent in what is found in Google Scholar; however, could it somehow
be tinkered with to produce a correct number of publications found
when calculating the H-index?
The number of publications found does not match the number displayed
when I click on "view publications" - it's not even close - even with
an author with fewer publications.
I suspect the problem lies in the concept of "all 4 versions" of a
particular article being counted as 4 articles instead of just 1. Can
the H-index calculation be altered to be based on the actual list of
publications?
