Length: 6 months to Hire Salary: open Required Skills: AS/400 Description:
Applications Support Manager needed to manage staff that enhances and maintains
small development projects in the AS/400 and PC arena. 5-7 years' experience in
applications design, development, maintenance and enhancement are desired.
Manage 15-20 people including business analysts, programmer/analysts, DBAs, and
possibly technical writers. Should have experience with AS/400 (RPG) and
specifically J D Edwards packages, though this is strictly a managerial
position. Additional experience desired: MS Development Tools (Visual FoxPro,
Visual Basic, Access) and MS Office Suite products. Strong plusses: experience
with datawarehousing, and DBA concepts. Candidate should have strong ability to
meet commitments and ascertain and set priorities. Primary Skills: mgmt exp.,
application exp., AS/400, JDE knowledge, MS development tools, Office Suite
