Job Description:
A leading company is in need of a Printing/BCA Technician:
The job responsibility consist: Maintain Printing Department production equipment. Perform routine regular maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Adjust and optimize production equipment for maximum output and reliability. Maintain all production equipment in a safe and operable condition. Practice safe and effective work habits when working around energized equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Quality: Understand PDSC Printing Department quality standards to effect positive changes in machine performance. Follows repair and maintenance process (detailed in the operational manual and troubleshooting guides) to correctly diagnose problems, maintaining machine, and product quality.
Understand and promote PDSC quality, departmental procedures, and safety regulations. Trains 3-6 months on machine operation and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Job Knowledge:
Trouble-shoots equipment problems, faulty assembly procedures, and labor issues that may delay production.
Perform experimetns and tests related to printing machines and equipment. Trains, demonstrates and provides information to guide less experienced technician in performing their duties correctly and efficiently. Participate in cross-training exercises. Record regular scheduled preventive maintenance in tracking log. Record and submit detailed reports related to machine maintenance and enhancements. Follows maintenance procedures and oversees the cleaning of printing equipment and tools.
