前兩天上(ISC)2登錄 CPE 時, 發現有一筆在 submit 後, 立刻收到 email 通知被抽中稽核, 將過程記錄如下, 提供各位
CISSP/SSCP 參考.
1. 通知抽中稽核 email 內容節錄如下:

(ISC)2 randomly audits and verifies a certain number of Continuing
Professional Education (CPE) credits. The audit policy can be found in
the Guidelines for Submitting Continuing Professional Education
Credits, section: CPE Record-Keeping and Audits. The purpose of this
letter is to inform you that the CPE submission below has been
selected for audit and verification.

Domain: CISSP - Other - General Education (Group B)
Please understand that once a CPE has been selected for audit, it
cannot be removed or deleted. The CPE selected for audit will either

It is important that you complete the CPE audit process. Accordingly,
please forward documentation in support of numbers one or two below.
1. Evidence of the CPE Credit You Submitted.
Evidence of CPE credits earned may be in the form of course
transcripts, awarded diplomas, certificates or receipts of attendance,
sales/invoice/library receipt, copies of front and back of magazine/
book covers showing address label for magazines or ISBN numbers for a
book, copies of official meeting minutes or rosters (that include
attendees names), or documentation of registration materials.
2. A Description of the CPE Activity
If the CPE activity has no substantial documentation, please provide a
description of the CPE activity, how it relates to your duties, any
instructor or supervisor names and what part they played in your
submittal. This can be a brief description that accurately reflects
the scope and nature of the CPE activity.

2. Description of Activity
The activity was held by EMC at Sheraton Hotel, Taipei. The subject
was "CLOUD MEETS BIG DATA, EMC FORUM 2011". There are 3 tracks in the
forum, all topics are about cloud computing. I chose Track C because I
would like to know more cloud security. However, those security-
related sessions didn't shed much light on me, most of the sessions
still focused on the cloud computing application and performance
instead of security. One of the sessions impressed me most was
"Blockbuster Backup Redesign" by Kevi Lan. He was an very excellent
speaker, always caught audiences' attention. The activity started from
9:00 a.m. and ended at 5:00 p.m.

The activity "CLOUD MEETS BIG DATA, EMC FORUM 2011" has been passed.
Note that this activity was updated From CPE Type: "Vendor
Presentation" To CPE Type: "Education Courses and Seminars" because
according to the "CPE Policies & Guidelines" bulletin, the CPE Type:
"Vendor Presentaton" must be submitted only as a Group A activity. See
page 8 in the Guidelines for this information.
Although the audit procedure is a burden to you, it is important as it
provides an opportunity for (ISC)2 to review the information submitted
to ensure compliance with the "CPE Policies & Guidelines" bulletin.
