SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer

Atlanta/Dallas/Neenah

Duration: 6-12 month

 

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills :-

                             

SAP S/4HANA ABAP development experience (preferred).  SAP ECC ABAP development experience (mandatory).  Deep familiarity with the ABAP workbench, SAP data dictionary, and associated objects.  Ability to program using K-C coding and security standards.  Familiarity with SAP BAPI, BADi’s, User Exits, and ABAP code extensions. Ability to integrate technologies using SAP IDOCS’s, RFC calls, and API calls to/from integration technologies such as SAP PI and Mulesoft.

 

Experience Required      

 

•             Must have experienced in at least 2 SAP implementation projects as a technical ABAP consultant

•             Must have worked in all dimensions of RICEFW

•             Must have sound experience in enhancements and interface developments

•             Must carry very strong debugging skills

•             Experience in data dictionary objects such as Domain, Data Element, Table, Search help, Views.

•             Should have strong hands-on knowledge in ABAP technologies viz. Interactive Reporting, Dialog Programming, BAPI, RFC, SAP Scripts, Smartforms, ALE/IDocs, Interface Programming, BDC, Workflow and Data Conversions

•             SAP ABAP Certification will be an added advantage

              

Roles & Responsibilities

 

•             Ability to create functional and technical specifications.  And then turn these specifications into developments, using primarily the SAP ABAP workbench.  Solutions must be secure and properly documented.

•             Perform code review and single point of contact for all ABAP developments.

•             Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.

•             Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.

•             Support business implementations by sharing best practice development skills.

•             Assist initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.

•             Work with the SAP Functional exports to facilitate incident & problem resolution
