Hi Everyone,
Has anyone had discussion about whether or not to show the primary key
ID numbers on the User screen? If it is a system-generated number, it
really has no value to the user, correct?
For example, in our case, a donorID such as "12345": It has no meaning
to them and they can't change it. Also, they would never use it for a
search because it isn't something they could remember for each donor.
So should we show it, maybe as a dimmed field? Or not show it at all?
Maybe some of the view-control people have already had this conversation.

The primary keys (and foreign keys) must not be shown to the user. They have no meaning for the user. We use them behind the scene.
