Regarding SOCS issue

Dear All,

I am really gloomy while writing this message to you, but I was pushed into as the result of few unexpected decisions made by you during last couple of weeks.

Regrettably, the Society of Computer Sciences (SOCS) is going to be discontinued by the students’ union. That means, in future, any students’ activities will only be incorporated under students’ union. 

 

Basically academic societies are completely different from other so-called unions in terms of their aims and objectives. Students’ unions are responsible to sort out any student related issues while these academic societies are inclined to enhance the strength of the students academically. Through the decision you have make, I could understand that you are not aware of these fact and never tried to illuminate too.

The stance of the department regarding this issue will be expressed in due course. Further, we don't except this kind of inappropriate behavior in the future.

If it is so, this would be the one of the worst decision taken by students.
