Meeting postponed

Folks,

I don't think we have enough people today to do anything meaningful
via conference call today. I have less than 5 affirmative responses
right now. I'm going to suggest we reschedule again to a date when we
can get at least enough people to make it worth everyone's time.

I'll look at the calendar and propose some more dates.

I was going to participate but I hope you assumed that I would. You
never indicated that if you didn't get an RSVP from someone that you
assumed they would not participate.

In the future use http://doodle.ch/ to determine when people are
available for a meeting. There wasn't any discussion if today was
good for anybody.

Have an international call in number for people like Andrew Crowley to
participate. Someone from Asia also had indicated they'd like to call
in. Pick a time that is more convenient for them. 3pm Eastern is a
bit late for Europe. 12pm Eastern is better and good for everyone in
the US.

I hope you're not depending on just the Google group to get people to
participate in the meeting. If they're only reading the group online
and not getting emails, then they might never see the information
about the meeting.

Can you at least post the results of the CIS/2 survey in the Google
group or some of the things that were discussed in the IT committee
meeting?

Maybe if you distribute some materials about what AISC is planning or
thinking about doing with CIS/2 then more people might be interested
in participating. A lot of the agenda is just asking questions. What
does AISC want to do?

I'll see what AISC can do about getting a free international call in
number. Right now the one we have only works in the U.S. I don't mind
starting the meeting at a time that's more convenient for
international callers, but if we have people calling from North
America, Europe and Asia, there's going to be someone calling at an
odd time.

As Bob recommended, I've posted the results from the survey as well as
the meeting minutes from the last IT Committee meeting. This should
give an idea of how AISC is looking at CIS/2 and what we see for its
future.
