Here are a couple of screenshots of CIS/2 on an iPhone. The iPhone
app is goBIM.

I had to convert CIS/2 to IFC with SteelVis, import the IFC to Revit
Structure, and then with the goBIM plugin for Revit, export the goBIM
file (.gbm), put the file online, and then imported it to goBIM on the
iPhone.

It only works for small models and navigating the model is
frustrating. It's a start but needs lots of work. Compare this to
what I was doing 8 years ago http://www.nist.gov/cgi-bin//get_pdf.cgi?pub_id=860882
which was VRML on
a Compaq iPAQ.

Doing a quick search online, there are also some iPhone apps that will
display VRML so that could be used to show VRML files generated by
SteelVis.
