Reading from:
http://code.google.com/appengine/docs/quotas.html

I see that you get 200 free "indexes". Can I assume that each file
that CirruxCache caches, will burn one (or more) of these indexes?
Can anyone explain exactly what an "index" means in this context? As
I mentioned in a previous post, I hope to be able to cache about 2000
tiny files using a free account on GAE.

Thanks,
-Ryan

An index is created for each specific search on Appengine. I don't
specify specific index on CirruxCache, I let AppEngine generate them
automatically. However there should be only few different indexes
generated based on the usage of the Datastore CirruxCache has.

In other terms, you will never reach the index limit using CirruxCache.

Best,
