Apologies if you received this information before and don't want to get involved and thank you very much if you received it before and took action.   If you are undecided, perhaps this will help you decide.

Please consider forwarding this to others.  We need many small or modest contributions in order to have "crowdfunding."  It will be a great loss for humanity if this opportunity is missed.

A friend who is a brilliant inventor needs to demonstrate grassroots support through crowdfunding of $1500 in order to receive a grant of $250,000 from IEEE and other support of at least $50,000. This will allow him to work with the University of Costa Rica to demonstrate his combustion-free technologies that will greatly benefit our planet.  Water purification,  transportation,  electricity generation--can all be accomplished without combustion using his broad spectrum concentrated solar power and energy storage.

Even a dollar is helpful.  It will turn into $200 in the next phase, perhaps many thousand in the future.  So far, we have raised over $500.  

Feel free to call me at 202 257 9556 to confirm this is from me and not a hacker.  One friend said she would happily support this but doesn't want to send money via the internet.  If you feel similarly. I could make a donation on your behalf if you mail a check made out to me at 517 13th Street SE, Washington DC 20003.  If you let me know what is coming, I will make the donation on your behalf before the check arrives.  If we cross paths regularly, cash is also fine.  The deadline for fundraising is mid-January.

I believe strongly in Virgil and invested in his company and have loaned him money for food for his family.  I don't normally beg for help but I am for this because we need a crowd and because his technologies are good for our planet.  Thank you for considering my request.
